Attachment Problems

I have a very important issue that is currently delaying the implementation of JIRA for our business project. In Internet Explorer, when we go to attach a document in the Create an Issue form, the button works and it shows the document path, but there is no acknowledgement of the document actually being attached. After the issue has been created, there is no attachment and one can only be added through the Edit function. Attachments must be working for this project to go forward. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Two quick things to look at:

1. Can you try a different browser? Does that work? (Also, what version of IE and Jira are you using?)

2. What does your log file say? An errors?
