Hello,
we have Project A and Project B. By now, Users working on Project A (or Project B) can assign all issues to every user in our JIRA-system.
We want to limit this possibility, that users from project A can only assign to Users working on Project A and never get a recommendation to assign a User of project B.
To make it more difficult: some users working on project a and project b, some don't.
Is it possible to limit the possibility to assign an issue only to those users, who work(or are in the project group/role) on this project?
if you have different permission schemes in these project simply give assignable user permission to the corresponding users of these project, Preferrably via a project role a group (eg. in Project A it's Group A and in Project B it's Group B)
I agree with Udo, project roles will make this the easiest.
