Ask question time outs in Jira

Hi!

We are using Atlassian JIRA v6.2.5 and we have problems with Ask question -function. If the Comment written in text box is too long Ask Question times out and won't send the comment. Is there some limitations how many characters you can type into that Comment text box? See pictures attached.
