Are there plans to make the JIRA bot for Slack more configurable?

Max Ludwig April 12, 2017

Currently the output is way too noisy. Setting up the bot is also way too noisy.

Any plans for improvement here?

Thanks @Max Ludwig. What would you like to see improved? We wanted to strike a good balance between ease of configuration and a useful set of notifications out of the box.

Thanks for the response!

I guess it'd be a good start to provide ~3 output presets when an issue identifier is detected. One would be just 1 line containing the link to the issue of course and maybe the type, status, and assignee. Another one could be 2-3 lines containing additionally the title and maybe the first paragraph of the description. And then the third one could be the one you already have.

Then a nicer UI/UX would be nice when setting up the bot for multiple projects.

We added an alternate message style a few months ago... you might not have seen it. If you go back into your channel config `/jira info`, you can switch to the "compact" mode.

Is there no way to delete your own post?

Hi Michael,
