Archiving projects in JIRA

Using JIRA Cloud, I'm following the documentation for "'hiding' a project" here: https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver071/archiving-a-project-802592917.html

I have some questions:

  1. Where should the project appear under the 'Administration' menu, as mentioned in the documentation?
  2. After following the instructions, my project is still appearing in the "Browse Projects" list for me and the other JIRA administrators. Is there a way we can hide it for everyone, including admins? Our company has a large number of completed projects that we'd like to hide from this list for ease of navigation.

Thanks to anyone who can help!
