I want to create an application link between two Jira cloud instances but I only want the other company to be able to view/link to a specific set of tickets. I am not seeing any documentation or community posts about being able to link the tickets for specific projects or filters.
Thanks for your engagement here!
@Ryan Smith Welcome! You migfht want to use Security levels instead. Application linking has a different goal.

So issue security schemes with the other company as guests on our system and not application linking? Would other linking, like OAuth, be capable of restricting access via the linking?
I'm trying to avoid inviting guests to our Jira instance, thanks!

I'm curious about this as well, Ryan! I have the exact same use case. I want to connect a specific project of tickets in our Jira instance to another organization's Jira instance. I don't want them to be able to see any of our other projects or tickets. Only what I link from a specific project.
When I tested out application links in a test space, I was able to search through and see all of the issues in a Jira organization, which would not work for my team.
Hoping someone has encountered our situation before and can provide some guidance!
