Application access License usage ccount, what does it mean?

Charles Richard May 24, 2017

Hi,

My CTO asked me to explore the following in the Admin Application Access page:

License usage

JIRA Software
45 used of 2000
Confluence
47 used of 2000

Our license for Jira and Confluence is supposed to be a 50 user license and the billing estimate doesn't reflect a 2000 user license so I'm assuming this is some kind of internal Atlassian limit or something of the kind. Could somebody please confirm? We would rather not have to pay a crazy bill because of an issue or oversight.

Thanks,

Charles

Hi Charles,

The count you see reflects the active users to available users. From what you're seeing it appears you have 45 JIRA users and 45 Confluence users with a 20000 user license.  I thought about that being internal too but I have not seen that and an evaluation license would show unlimited instead of a specific number.

I see that you don't have a 2000 user license so I have created a ticket on your behalf with our Customer Advocates and they will be in touch with you soon to help you figure out why JIRA is reflecting a 2000 user license.

Thanks,

Branden
