Application Links looks broken in JIRA

We experienced a problem with making application links from JIRA issue (checked for versions 5.2.7 and 6.1.5) to Confluence page (version 5.1.5).

Existing links shown as " Wiki Page Failed to load".
Search Confluence Page for newly created link says "Content on the Confluence site could not be accessed because the Confluence server's 'Remote API' feature is disabled. The Confluence system administrator must enable this 'Remote API' feature for JIRA to successfully access this content".

But Remote API is enabled and accessible from both sides, mutual app link is created and JIRA Issue macro on Confluence side is working properly.

Re-creating application links doesn't fix it.

As I understood, we have AppLinks versions 3.10.4/4.0.9 on Jira and 3.10.6 on Confluence.

Are these AppLinks plugin versions compatible between each other?

Hi,

As it was investigated, we had an issue with incorrect Apache configuration (incorrect REST API URL filtering). It is already fixed.

We are having this same issue, but with an IIS configuration. Everything is configured within the applications as they should be. Does anyone have a recommended fix?

Are you seeing the exactly the same errors?

Yes. Confluence says "Content on the Confluence site could not be accessed because the Confluence server's 'Remote API' feature is disabled. The Confluence system administrator must enable this 'Remote API' feature for JIRA to successfully access this content" even when everything is properly enabled, configured, etc. We are able to successfully pull in JIRA issues into Confluence.

I believe that error is thrown when code running in the browser attempts to connect to the Confluence Remote API. Is it possible that the URL being used, probably the display url associated with the applink is not accessible from your browser?

These versions of applinks should all be compatible.

It sounds like you have 3 systems, 2 JIRA's and 1 Confluence, are the links broken from both JIRAs to Confluence?
