Any way to track exports?

I am wondering if there's any way to track which and when users perform bulk exports. 

I've looked through atlassian-jira.log and atlassian-jira-security.log but I don't see any indication of when an export is performed.  We have a work-around  that only users of a certain group can export issues.

Is there another way to pull which users exported what?

Perhaps I've overlooked something?  Our logs are admittedly pretty spammy.

Still looking for an answer on this issue - Surely there must be some way?  Maybe track downloads of .xls files from the server?  I'm open to any creative options.
