Any way to return Epic Name in a search filter for linked issues?

In our Jira instance, we have an issue type called Scenarios that are linked to Epics via Greenhopper. On the issue detail page you can see the Epic Name in the Agile section, but adding that column to a search for Scenarios returns a null field (presumably because Epic Names are associated with Epics, not Scenarios).

I can populate Epic Links in the search filter, but that's not altogether helpful. Is there any way to get Epic Names to show up?

Thanks,

Ryan

Hi Ryan,

By default in JIRA, the Epic Name only shows for issue type 'Epic', for other issues types as you know, we only can see the Epic Link in seaching. Here are two improvment tickets, which raised in our development projcet:

https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/GHS-8053

https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/GHS-8458

Please vote on it for implements and add to your watach list for future updates.

Ps: Here is the Implementation of New Features Policy

Cheers
