Any limits to the amount of hours applied to a task?

We use Tempo and part of the best practices we saw was to roll-over our time tasks every year. Is there an actual limit to the amount of hours that can be logged?

Example, at the max with about 3k users all logging time to the same task of say, 8hrs per day for the year, that is nearly 8.5 million hours. Would our servers explode before the year is out?

Does anyone have issues with large hours logged to the tasks?

JIRA 6.1 and latest Tempo release.

Time is logged in JIRA issues regardless of whether you log time in Tempo or not. There is no limit to how much time you log. As long as you don't view too much information at one time, you are fine.

Fantastic. I just wanted to make mention of Tempo as another potential variable but this is the answer that I needed. Thanks.
