Allow customer to choose the reporter onthe ticket creation

Is it possible to allow customer to choose the reporter when opening a ticket in jira service desk?

This is possible.

  1. Add reporter field to create screen
  2. Add Service Desk Customer - Portal Access to Assign Issues and Modify Reporter in permission scheme

Hi @edwin ,

 

I don't know if there is something missing or if I am doing something wrong, but my customers are still unable to set the reporter throught the customer portal, when opening a ticket.

 

I've added the reporter field to the create screen and set the permission as you suggested.

Currently, only agents are able to set the reporter.

 

Is there anything else that could influence on that?
