Allow Zephry Test Case management to Copy Test Cases between Projects

I'm not a hundred per cent sure if this is a limitation in JIRA or in Zephyr but I've seen other user posting about the same use case:

The problem is we can't copy test cycles between projects. The reason to do that is because we've changed from Waterfall into Agile and want to have our cycles distributed across different teams/projects while also REusing the test cycles we already had.

How come this is not possible?

Below is an step by step example I created to prove this.:

obviously if there's a drop down allowing you to select the destination project it means you SHOULD be able to do just that, but instead you get this:
