Hi guys,
I am quite new in Jira and recently created a workflow for our project in which there are couple of customized steps/transisions.
Since I assined this workflow to one of projects, however users can assign tasks to each other, but the assignee cant see the assigned tasks to him/her (either in dashboard or search area). In the Activity Stream section it's mentioned the assign:
<User> changed the Assignee to <NewAssigne> on <Issue ID>
Have i missed a part while I was creating the new workflow?
Update: I am using Jira 4.1
Try to do a reindexing and see if it fixes the issue.
Hi Jobin,Thanks for the reply.
I did the re-index and the problem is still on!

The workflow should not matter here. Check that the assignee is in the right groups/roles/other settings for the "browse" permission in the project's permission scheme.
You can tie these into workflows a bit, but it will still come back to the assignee not having the rights to see the issue.

Thanks Nic for the quick reply. I checked the User groups , roles and permissions. They are all sound fine!
I double checked the issues, sounds the issues which were created before I assign the new workflow are having this problem and assigning is working perfectly for new issues!
Any Idea?
