Our JIRA have integrate with active directory, therefore all user are logging in with their Windows ID and password.
Recently we have a new staff, his login is created wrongly (e.g. domain/wrong). The JIRA have already sync the login data and permission have been granted to this "wrong" account.
After a few days, the user complain and the domain administrator rename his ID from "wrong" to "correct". Now he can login his windows (domain/correct) and JIRA without issue, all permission are retained
However, in JIRA, some area still show his old ID. For example, in the "Activity" section in each issue, the "Last Executer" is showing his old ID.
How can I (as the JIRA admin) correct it?
I found my issue is related with this bug report(https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRASERVER-61871) since some years ago.
May I know any work around available? Can I delete the user from JIRA and resync to make it work?
