This is absolutely not what story points are for, and focussing on them is completely the wrong thing to do.
Trying to do a mathematical quantitative or qualitatvice analysis on this is mostly going to be a waste of your time, because story points are not for this.
If you insist on thinking this is a problem, then the answer is simple - talk to your team. Their scrum master will probably be able to explain it very easily, as it's their job to understand how the team is working.
