We would like to use the JIRA time tracking to document the time estimation of new features. However, there is IMHO a lack of reporting functionality, since the time tracking report does not allow filtering (for example issue type, component ...).
Can anyone recommend a plugin that would allow such advanced reporting? Tempo Timesheet seems to be a bit heavy and focusses on user based time sheets.

You should definitely have a look at Everhour add-on for Jira.
It allows to receive comprehensive reports of your team’s activity. And you are absolutely free to build the layout of your reports and add as many data columns as you need.
