Addressing users on jira

HI

When i address a user on jira using the @Name; jira automatically resolves the name as [~<username>].

This is not very helpful since we have ldap authenticated directory.

We want JIRA to resolve the name to [~<Full Name>]

Is this possible?

It is possible, though it will most likely require you to develop your own custom renderer.
