Adding statistical gadget on the dashboard

Hello,

I am trying to add a gadget on JIRA dashboard to get statistics on issues that are open, in-progress and resolved.

But I am not able to find the setting where I can add the gadget/plugin to dashboard.

We have JIRA v1001.0.0-SNAPSHOT , I am the admin but I can't view the option to Add gadget on dashboard.

Please help me.

Any help is highly appreciated.

Click dashboards in the top left corner and select a dashboard. Then add a gadget by pressing the add gadget button in to right top corner.

I might be missing your point completly ;-) let me know.

The issue is resolved, thank you for your suggestion.

If this is a dashboard you created, then you just click add. 

If it's someone else's dashboard, then yo'll need to get them to add the gadget.  Or get the admins to change the owner to you.

If this is the system dashboard, then you will need to log in as an admin and go to Admin -> System dashboard

It is a system dashboard. I don't think anyone knows the admin login here. So I just created a new dashboard and added the gadgets.
