Adding sections on View Issue screen

Is it possible to add more sections on view issue screen like Details,Description, Activity which can contain custom fields created by us?

Those sections are called "web panels". You'll need some add-on development knowledge in order to create a new one - see the documentation here. The easiest way to start would be via ScriptRunner - you won't need to go through all the hassle of developing and packaging an add-on.

There are certain modification that can be done in Issue view screens (adding custom fields display etc.).

The question has already been asked (I hope the scenario are same, if not, do correct me).
