Adding admins to a project

I am having a lot of trouble with trying to change fields without admin rights to the project. If I contact someone that is an existing admin, how would they go about adding existing users as an admin?

They would need to add them into the group or groups named as JIRA or System adminstrators.

This is a global admin setting though, and we always strongly recommend only having a small close team of JIRA admins.
