Adding a custom field to the backlog view *on the right*

Hi,

I have a custom field called "Discipline." I want this field's content (in this case, "Engineering") to move from the Backlog view position pictured to the left of the team member icon (the eye).

How do I do that?

My reason is that this increases the height of each entry on the list, and I want it nice and small so we can see more issues per physical screen.

I don't believe that you can. Jira allows you to add 3 extra fields on each card, but they all go under the description and will increase the height - that's the trade-off you will need to accept
