Adding JIRA users

I have setup JIRA server and added users that I created. How can these users get an invitation to get on to my JIRA server instance? I have created a few users but they have not gotten any email invitations. I created the outgoing email smtp server properly since the status shows, enabled.

When creating a user did you select "Send notification email"?

Yes. But the people that i created with their email addresses didnt get a email notification.

Ok, i deleted the user and re-created them. I then had a invite sent. It worked

how were you able to delete a user?

Hi i am having a similar issue. I am on a free plan and only have 4 users apart of my project. We were initially on standard but then downgraded. 2 of the users that were initially apart of the board no longer have access. 

I sent an invite to the users and they are able to receive and accept the invite but once they accept the invite they receive an error stating they do not have access to the board. 

Not sure how to get them access tot he board
