Working In JIRA Server 7.5.0 and JIRA Service Desk 3.8.1
I am wanting to add the Component Field to my Create Issue screen but when a tech creates a new issue and adds his/her Component the ticket isn't moving from Unassigned to Assigned to Team in my workflow. The Component field says ie "Account Management" but the ticket status stays at Unassigned. What do I need to do to get the status to change to Assigned to Team??
Your question isn't quite clear. Did you add the component field to the create issue screen?
And not sure if you're referring to the assignee of the issue or the workflow status of the issue? You seem to be mixing up terms.
