Add values to custom field of a project via REST

Hi,

Currently, i'm manually adding values to a cascading select list (custom field) via the JIRA Admin webpage.

I would like to add the values to a given PROJECT ID (NOT issue) using REST via the "curl" Unix command.

I was not able to find an example to accomplish this.

Is this possible?  Please tell me where i can find some examples.

I'm afraid REST does not (yet) support admin actions such as adding options to fields.
