Add read permissions to 1 Jira ticket for an external user

We have employees in the company who dont have a JSM license but they will create tickets for the company JSM board. Is it possible to give the employees who raised the request, access to the ticket to view the progress?

Hi @Yair ,

You cannot grant access to boards/jira view for  users without license.

Reporters by default will have access to their tickets from customer portal even if they don't have license. You can also share tickets to any users using "Share' button on the ticket in customer portal or adding user in "Request participant" field in Jira view.

Hi Yair, welcome to Alttaisn Community,

Yes, you can create and provide access to the employees/customers with out JSM license to see and create issues  but they cannot update anything.  (called as users without license).

with Regards
