Hi there.
I didn't find any similar question, so sorry, if it exists :-P
I need to add a custom field to an issue screen right before comment button. By an issue screen I mean screen where you can read description, with url something like [jira_url]/browse/[issue_id].
Is it possible and if possible - how to add it? I guess that I need to create some specific screen and/or workflow, but no matter how long I tried to do this, it didn't work.
Help me please. It's very necessary for my work.
Thanks.
Hi, here you have an answer about this:

You can create a new screen or just modify the screen that it is configured in the Screen Scheme to be used in an issue edit view.
You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
It's in the docs - http://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA/Configuring+Fields+and+Screens

I understand how to add a field in issue operation or status transition. As far as I can see, issue description doesn't belong to any of this.
