Active Directory order

Jerry Su November 29, 2017

Hello,

Jira version: 1.8.0_40 In my JIRA server, originally set an Active Directory, providing user login.

Recently, We set up another new Active Directory, which has moved all users of the first AD to a second Active Directory. I would like to ask question: When we set jira Active Directory as the second Active Directory, the first Active Directory is closed, and when the JIRA user logs in through the second Active Directory, for example : user abc, how to make the original first Active Directory user abc , after the user login, the original data still exist? How to do user Migration?

Hello,

You do not have to do something special. If usernames are the same, then user abc from the second AD will be the same as the user from the first abc. You do not have to configure anything

What Alexey says.. but remember to reorder the user directories.

If a user with the same username exists in two directories, then the fist listed will be the one used.

Hello,

situation:
User through the second Active Directory login, user abc originally created in the jira does not exist, become a new user abc, is this because uuid changes?

In the Jira versions I worked with uuid did not influence on it. If username is the same then the user is the same.
