Access to restricted issues via links

I currently have project A that user Tom can only see issues assigned to him. I have issues from another project B that link to to issues assigned to Tom on project A. I want to give Tom access to see only those issues on project B that are linked to his issues on project A. Is it possible to give access via links?

No, you can't do this - there are no permissions you can use relating to links.

Hi Greg,

If Tom is assigned to issues in Project B that are linked to Project A then modify your permission scheme and issue security scheme in Project B to include Current Assignee...

Unfortunately it is not possible to grant access to remote issues automatically when you add a link on different issue.
