ARCHIVED Story with Subtasks in Active Sprint

I've used JIRA for many years and haven't seen this one before.  We have an ARCHIVED story with subtasks in our active Sprint.  Any insight and advice as to what could have caused this would be greatly appreciated.

Archived? Please explain how this is illustrated. Is this a status maybe or something else? Screenshot?

You have to be an JIRA Admin to archive an issue, which is sort of equivalent to deleting an issue.  Once a story is archived, it's not supposed to be able to be viewed by anyone after that. There is a separate screen for Admins to review all archived issues.  The story that is showing up in our active Sprint is one of the archived stories.  I can't show a screenshot for company privacy purposes.
