In Enterprise Analytics, we have been using Jira (at the recommendation of IT execs) for project management/tracking, time tracking, and overall capacity/portfolio planning. Currently we have a "homegrown" python-based process to ingest data from the Jira REST API for our work/project, which we then move into a database, and then layer a Tableau dashboard on top of for easy viewing, trending, and attention to cadence. The ideal process workflow unfortunately exceeds our ability to automate it, and we do not have available to us the tools necessary to make it reliable and flexible. We are looking for help in building a more robust solution, or better automating the existing process and bolstering it with a more solid hosting foundation.

That sounds like a project for an Atlassian partner, it's not a small thing that Community volunteers would have enough time for.
We could probably help with specific questions, or if you could give us a bit more detail about what you are extracting from Jira and why, we might be able to recommend apps or possible new solutions.
