We have many projects set up in JIRA and Confluence. I am currently working with two 3rd parties on one project and need to give them access to the JIRA board for that particular project only. They must not be allowed to be able to view any other projects in JIRA.
We have manged to create a new group with the group only having access to the one project but when you add users to the group they can see all projects!!
Any advice on how to limit 3rd party user access would be appreciated.
Creating separate groups is part of it, you also need to create a permission scheme that limits the access to the project. Have a look at How to restrict project access to different isolated user groups, hopefully that will help.
Thanks Mikael, I'lllet you know how we get on.
