2 scrum boards need 2 sprints

Hi,

We have two scrum boards which we want to use on two different sprint schedules but for some reason when I close a sprint on one board it closes both of them.

Each board had it's own stories and tasks with no cross over that I could see.

Is there a way I can run different sprints for each board?

Hi, Luke.

What probably is happening is that you have the same sprints for both boards and since the boards have different filters (for example, filters per projects with different projects for each board) you see mostly different issues for the different boards. When you close one sprint, it is closed in the other board.

A sprint will appear in every board that contains an issue that it contains, as you can read here: https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/AGILE/Working+with+Sprints.

You can search for the issues of this sprint by the sprint ID and see if the issues include issues from both boards.
