update custom date time field using C#

I am getting below error when trying to add/update custom datetime field

{"errorMessages":[],"errors":{"customfield_11001":"Error parsing time: 02/Apr/18 7:24 PM"}}

even i was tried most of the date formats but no luck. please suggest to solve this issue.

I used .ToString("o"), and the error went away after that.
