what are some approaches for migrating attachments into jira from a previous system?

Alex Rising Star Mar 03, 2022

Hi @Justin Roebuck and welcome to the community!

It would be great to have a bit more context on your question, are you intending to import attachments to existing Jira issues or create brand-new issues? Is your site hosted on cloud or on-premises.

This would help everyone in the community to get their head around your question and come up with answers.

@Justin Roebuck Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

I agree with @Alex that we need more context in order to better help you with your question.

Also, please note that there are separate collections/groups based on products and interests in the Community and it is advised to put up such questions in the right collection/group to get dedicated support on that from the relevant experts. This question should be posted in "New to Jira" product group here:

I hope this helps!

@Justin Roebuck Hey, Justin! I moved this question to the Jira collection, so that you may get the best possible answers.
