Unable to use @ to identify staff. Only works with some.

Jira system: Ticket fails to allow using @ sign convention to route messages to Austin Garcia - A Team contributor on the ticket.

System does recognize @ Lovedip Kooner

Often times we experience issues with tagging users as part of comments.

I am trying to comment and tag Erin Thomas Slayden as part of Ticket and can typically do @erin and the drop down will pop up to select her name. I have tagged this user successfully before in other tickets. I experience this often when trying to tag multiple different people - many who I know I have tagged successfully before.

I tried Chrome and Microsoft Edge.

Any suggestions on how to fix this issue?

Hi, 

What is your Jira version ? Are you using multiple node ?

Do you know if the user have a Jira license?

Are you the only one unable to tag him or other user cannot do either ?

When you are not able to tag him, then go to user management and try to find him, does the account seems right (no error in profile picture, user have group etc...)
