Unable to deploy from the snapshots created

I am trying to setup a Training environment for Atlassian Jira. Post the Installation and setup completion, i am trying to deploy the system configuration from the snapshot created in the dev environment. Snapshot has been created successfully. But while am trying to deploy the snapshot created, am receiving an error and the deploy gets failed.

Error message:

WARNING Project <Project Name> refers to the missing user <Username>

It seems to the missing user are not part of our association but somewhere that username is linked to the project. Please help in identifying on how to find/locate the missing user from project or its associated issues. Since there are many issues associated it gets difficult to identify. Kindly help

Hi Shadish

I understand that you're trying to setup a cloned instance of JIRA and you've encountered an error message stating:
WARNING Project <Project Name> refers to the missing user <Username>

Could you provide the following information which may help narrow down the cause of your issue.

# What is the JIRA version of the training environment?
# How was the installation done, and was it successful?
# Is it a JIRA Cloud or JIRA Server instance?
# When you say "snapshot", are you referring to the "backup XMLs"?
# How are you "deploying" the "snapshots"? Are you performing a system restore?
# What version of JIRA was the "snapshot" derived from?

Best regards,
Lenard
