Hi everyone,
we have the use case that sometimes release dates have to be shifted, and therefore the management wants to see this in Jira.
Of course they can see the new/changed release date, but they don't know that it was changed. Because they don't know all the "old" release dates by heart and it's hard to spot such a change in e.g. the BigPicture timeline / Gant chart.
So the idea was to somehow make it visible to the management that a release date has changed, or to inform them via Mail when the release date (and only the release date) has changed.
To my knowledge mails can be sent when any field in an item/issue changes, but it can not be limited to the change of only specific fields.
Has anyone a solution for that use case? Some workaround via reports or JQuery quickfilters maybe? Should this feature be requested?
Thank you in advance
