Not get email notification when re-assignee to other users in Jira Server

Hello everyone,

I have used Jira cloud before, when I changed assignee on a issues to other users. The users will get an email notification which said "you was assign to the issue..." Now my team has use Jira server due to security policy. I get a problem, when a users re-assigne to other users. The users did not get any notfication email. Does it is different function between jira cloud and server?  Do we have any solution to help my team can get notification when change assignee?

The functions are practically the same, however there are certain things you will need to confirm first to narrow down the problem.

  1. On Jira Server have you configured an smtp for your mailing?
  2. Is the Outgoing mail feature turned on?
  3. Is the notification scheme configured in such a way not to send notification to the current assignee for issue assigned event?
