Need your Suggestion to upgrade java in Jire 7.1.7

Hello Jira Team

Currently we have jira version of 7.1.7 and java 1.8.  Currently there are multiple Vulnerabilities so we are planning upgrade java version.

If we check that java version in system we are getting this (build 1.8.0_212-8u212-b03-0ubuntu1.16.04.1-b03)

Could you please share the java compatibility version with build for Jira 7.1.7

Which will resolved this CVE-2019-2699 CVE-2019-2697 CVE-2019-2698 CVE-2019-2602 CVE-2019-2684

Please let me know if any other information.

Regards

Ravi.Murthy

Hi @Ravi Murthy ,

As per the JIRA 7.1 supported platform, it supports JAVA 1.8 and given I see that JAVA 1.8.0_212 is the latest version from JAVA

https://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/jdk8-downloads-2133151.html

I would suggest to downgrade to 1.8.0_210 or below or wait till JAVA release updated version.

Thanks,

Kiran.
