Jira server launching failed - Couldn't launch Jira on browser

Hi Team,

I'm just new to JIRA environment and have started learning it.

Coming to the point,I have brought the licensed version of JIRA Server 8.8.1 i.e the latest,and installed it on Windows 10 - 64 bit.after the installation,I'm facing an error saying 'an error occurred while starting the browser'.and could'nt launch the JIRA Server.please help me what can i do here?

Hi @sandeep s ,

Please refer the logs for more details, it will definitely point you to the root cause. As a workaround you can check if the server is still running under services. If not, you can run the server via command line by invoking the start-jira.bat file under JIRA>bin.

I believe this will get you started if you are missing out on anything.
