Jira export using JSON fails

I followed the steps at: https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/how-to-enable-json-export-in-jira-723158427.html to enable a JSON export in Jira.

When I run the export (even on a single issue), I immediately see the following error.  

This page isn't working

jira-aaaa.com unexpectedly closed the connection.

ERR_INCOMPLETE_CHUNKED_ENCODING

At the bottom of the above URL, there is a link for submitting bugs, but the link is invalid (or I don't have valid permissions).  https://ecosystem.atlassian.net/projects/JIM/ 

Bug with JSON Exporter ?

The JSON exporter is still in early beta phases. If encounter any issues or bugs related to the JSON Exporter, please raise a bug in the Jira Importers Project (JIM) at ecosystem.atlassian.net.

 

Does anybody know the fix for this error or how to submit this issue to the JIM team?
