Jira Application Link Health Check fails for no reason

For a while now Jira shows following notification:
"The Application Links health check has failed in your system."
The diagnosis reports a Network Error.
However, the connections to Confluence and Bitbucket work perfectly fine.
We've already tried to delete the links and create new ones, but the issue keeps returning.

Running Jira 7.5.0, Confluence 6.3.3 and Bitbucket 4.0.0
