JIRA or Confluence to start migration with

Hi,

We are planning for JIRA/Confluence migration/upgrade to the latest available version.

Current JIRA version used is 6.3.12

Current Confluence version used is 5.6.4

We have JIRA and Confluence connected each other in the "Application Links".

Which is the better approach to start with ? I mean, migrating and upgrading JIRA first and then Confluence ?

Or that doesn't matter what ever we start with ?

How to find the links between the both ? I mean, If I start with Confluence first, is there a way that it looks for any links with JIRA ?

How can I find all the links between JIRA and Confluence

Thanks,
