JIRA/Bugzilla Migration?

Hi Team,

We are migrated Bugzilla to Jira.

While I understand the OS and Platform data in inside the Environment field. That field will naturally provide user errors. We will need these two items separated out into their own fields. We can keep the Environment field in the project, but the use case for that field would be a little be different since we would depend on searching the contents of the OS and Platform fairly regularly.

Please advise me how we can separate those fields?

Thanks,

Hi!

You need to go the Custom fields panel. ({{base_url}}//secure/admin/ViewCustomFields.jspa)

Where you can rename, custom Priority field,

https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver071/configuring-a-custom-field-802592532.html

After using search and bulk changes set to new custom field a data.

BTW, if you have migrated only to test env,

you can set a correct field mapping before migrate.

Cheers,
