Is there a way to write CLI commands from JIRA?

aflorence April 19, 2018

Hello,

My requirement is to use JIRA to manage test case and as well as to execute the parasoft from JIRA itself. In short I want to use JIRA like ALM to execute my scripts and upload the results to JIRA.

Is there a way to open different software(parasoft SOATest) from JIRA in a single click or is there a way to pass the CLI commands that will open the parasoft and execute the tests.

For example,

1) Create automatic tests in JIRA

2) Provide the description as command line script to open the parasoft soatest tool

3) While I click on execute(play button), the above mention commands should open the parasoft soatest tool

4) Parasoft soatest tool will have all the executable scripts(X-RAY REST API) to upload the results

Please guide me if this can be done.

Thank You!

I think you should be able to do this with ScriptRunner.

You need to write the Groovy script that executes the CLI commands and place a button to start that script.
