Is there a better way to include all linked issues of a specified issue in a JQL query?

I feel like this should be possible, but I can't seem to find a way to do it in the official docs. For example, If I have linked Issues:

A clones B, and B relates to C

can I have a query that will return A, B, and C if I just specify A? Is there a technical reason why this is not possible?

Hi @Adam van der Voorn _TechTime_

the only solution I know of is the script runner plugin that has a recursive version of "linkedIssuesOf", see Issue Links (adaptavist.com)

Harald
