Is it possible to update the changeLogs for an issue ?

I have fetched the changeLogs for an issue. I need to add/update some text in the changeLogs and update the same in the changeLogs. How can I achieve this ?

Although I do not recommend, there is only one solution for this (without app).

You should change the rows in database. changegroup and changeitem tables store all issue change history details.
