How to install Jira or confluence on docker? also how to install them on kubernetees? is that supported by atlassian? is there any official documents to do so?
Thanks @Sebastian Krzewiński
I want to know is that officially supported by Atlassian? is there a documentation on how to do this from Atlassian? is that for testing and development purposes or I can install it on customer production environment?
Best Regards,
Medhat
Based on https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver/installing-jira-applications-938846823.html both are listed so I guess that it's supported.
IMHO you can use whenever you want (prod/preprod/test/dev env). Everything based on architecture/company decisions or needs.
Regards,
Seba
@Medhat Ahmed I guess you'll find https://atlassian.github.io/data-center-helm-charts/ helpful. Yes, Jira is officially supported on EKS, however, you can use the Helm chart to deploy it to most K8s clouds, including on-prem clusters.
@Medhat Ahmed we have a dedicated group for users to discuss Kub and Helm related questions and DC Deployment team from Atlassian are constantly monitoring the group for Q&A. you may find subscribe to it being helpful in the future
