Incorrect heading style in JIRA editor

Thomas J_ October 18, 2017

Hey,

we have encountered that JIRA headings in editor are not correct visualized. Perhaps it is mixed with other CSS of portal.

The headings h1. to h6. should have this style (like displayed under style in left up corner in editor of a task):

But the headings displayed are incorrect. It seems h1. and h2. are correct but then the style changes. Especially h4. is bigger than h3.:

Is this a bug in JIRA?

Hi Thomas,

it's the same look in my Jira, I've just tried that.

But it is also the same in the latest Jira on Cloud:

So, I think, this is intended behaviour, headings 1-3 and 4-6 are consistent.

Hey, thanks for your verification. In case this should be normal its a little bit confusing. Especially if someone needs more than 3 levels of headings in a post. Does this also happen in confluence where big posts are more often?

In my opinion it is simple an unexpected mixture of post and page heading css and should be clearified.
